About

Different strengths. Same mountain.

SlopeCycle started with a simple observation: the families who'd benefit most from skiing are the ones the gear bill pushes out first. We're building a way to outfit a growing kid without buying a closet's worth of clothes every winter.

What we believe

Three things we won't compromise on.

Access over ownership

Owning a kid's ski jacket for the one season it fits is a bad deal for everyone except the landfill. Renting well is the honest alternative.

Gear that's actually good

We rent real technical gear that survives several kids. We retire anything we wouldn't put on our own.

Fewer things bought, more days skied

Every jacket in our fleet outfits 3–4 kids before it's recycled. Fewer purchases, less storage, more families on the hill.

The opportunity

53 parent interviews. 42 of 49 said they would rent.

We talked to 53 parents. 45 of them are stuck in the hand-me-down and secondhand loop. Families spend hundreds per kid per season on ski outerwear. Kids grow about 2.5 inches a year while kids' ski sizes span about 3 inches. Last year's jacket rarely fits this year. One jacket outfits 3–4 kids before it retires. SlopeCycle is launching along Colorado's Front Range for winter 2027–28.
